Bricktown Brewery in Edmond, Okla. brings the laid-back atmosphere and local charm of the original restaurant in downtown Oklahoma City a lot closer to home.
Since its establishment in 1992, Bricktown Brewery has spread throughout Oklahoma and into Kansas, Texas and Arkansas. Some locations go by the name "BT Tap House," but the look and atmosphere of all the bars recall, to different degrees, the original brewery in Bricktown. They share an atmosphere that croons "local watering hole," with spacious floor plans, wooden tables and exposed brick walls.
The Edmond location houses a full bar and boasts ample restaurant seating. It's a family-friendly space that allows adults to indulge in cold brews while exploring the rest of the menu with their children or underage friends. A smattering of televisions across the walls keeps sports fans entertained.
Bricktown Brewery's sprawling menu is geared toward new American flavors. It features a wide variation of burgers, pizzas, meatloaves and appetizers like the great Watonga cheese curds. And that's only naming a handful of favorites.
The bar serves cocktails and spirits but as far as drinks go, local beer is their game.
The beer menu features flavors from a spread of local breweries like Coop Ale Works, Roughtail Brewing Company and Mustang Brewing Company. And of course, brews from Bricktown Brewery itself. The restaurant is accented with posters of their house brews like their 46 Star Oklahoma Amber Ale, Single String Stout and Three Guardsmen IPA. Naturally, they also have seasonal flavors but the Bluesberry Ale is available year-round.
