Congratulations Shandy Belford on Arvest Promotion!

Shandy Belford, one of Edmond Oklahoma’s own, was recently promoted at Arvest Bank. Belford was the senior vice president for commercial banking and has been promoted to now serve as the commercial loan manager of Arvest. Belford's promotion is quite the accomplishment considering that Arvest Bank consists of over 260 banks spanning across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas.

Shandy is a true inspiration to us all. She is proving that hard work does indeed pay off. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Belford pursued her career in the banking industry and has since then become an expert in her field with 12 years of experience under her belt.

For Belford, her work doesn’t stop when she leaves Arvest; she is actively trying to make a difference in the Edmond community through multiple civic involvement acts. She is currently an executive board member with the Edmond Public Schools as well as the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce. On top of Belford’s busy schedule, she manages to be a wife and mother to three children, which itself can be a full-time job.

Arvest Bank, mentioned in Forbes magazine as “America’s Best Large Employees” for 2017, is lucky to have Shandy Belford, a hard-working citizen on their team. They could not have chosen a more well deserving candidate for the position.
